How to get from Kyoto station to the Ryokan?

●Using Kyoto City Bus
From Kyoto Station Central Exit, board a bus bound for Kitaoji Bus Terminal (No. 206) at Bus Terminal D-2, then get off at Kumano Jinja-mae bus stop. Turn left at the first traffic light in the direction of the bus, and the hotel is 200 meters on the left.

●Using Trains
Take JR Nara Line and get off at Tofukuji Station, transfer to Keihan Railway bound for Demachiyanagi Station, and get off at Jingu-Marutamachi Station. Exit from Exit 5, turn left at the traffic light, and walk 300 meters to the right.

●Using taxi
Tell a taxi driver that you want to go to the south gate of Kyoto University Hospital. You will arrive just in front of the Ryokan.

When are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in time is from 16:00 and check-out time is by 10:00.

What time does the gate close at night?

The door is locked at 23:00, but after check-in, you can enter and go out of the building at any time using a keycard.

Can you take care of my luggage?

You can leave your luggage both before check-in and after check-out. After check-out, you can leave your luggage until 15:00 on the check-out day.

Can I send my luggage in advance?

Yes, you can. Please send your luggage to the following address. Please be sure to include your full name and the check-in date.

Can I send a courier service from the Ryokan?

It is possible to send a courier service. We also offer carrier service from the ryokan to Kyoto Station or from the ryokan to another ryokan or hotel in Kyoto. Please check with the front desk.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the ryokan.

Do you have a large public bath?

Yes, we have. Also, all guest rooms have a bathroom.
Available hours of public baths are 17:00-23:00 and 6:00-9:00.

Do you have parking lots?

We do not have a parking lot. Please use nearby charged parking lots.

Do you offer dinner and breakfast?

We do not offer dinner. We do offer breakfast, so if you would like to have breakfast, please book a plan with breakfast.
Since we have a limited number of breakfasts available, please note that it may not be shown a plan that includes breakfast on the reservation page if breakfast seats are already fully reserved.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. in the dining room on the first floor.

Can children stay?

Please understand that we do not accept children 12 years old and below.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary depending on the agent or service you booked, so please check the policy at the time of booking.

Do you have a laundry service?

We do not offer a laundry service, but there are coin-operated washing machines and dryers at the ryokan.

Can I have a visitor who is not staying at the ryokan in my guest room?

To prevent any accidents, no one other than guests staying at the ryokan is allowed to enter the guest rooms. Please use the lobby on the first floor for meeting visitors.

Can I smoke in the building?

Please understand that smoking is prohibited in the entire building.

Can I get medicine when I feel sick?

We cannot provide medicines according to Japanese law (Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act). Please ask at the front desk for referrals to nearby hospitals and/or pharmacies.

Do you have bus tickets for sale?

You can buy a one-day pass (JPY1,100) for the Kyoto City Bus and Subway at the front desk.

Until when can I change the number of people to stay?

Please inform us at least 3 days in advance. As room rates vary depending on the number of guests, cancellation fees or additional charges for each reservation may apply.
Depending on availability and room capacity, we might not be able to accept your request.
